Student rewarded for platinum nanotube research - 19th October 2007
Abstract:
University of California Riverside student Zhongwi Chen's pioneering research into supportless platinum nanotubes is to be recognised with an award to be presented at a fuel cell expo.
Mr Chen, who conducted his research under a programme with fuel cell component manufacturer Pacific Fuel Cell, will be given the Bernard S Baker Award at the 2007 Fuel Cell Seminar & Exposition.
Mr Chen will be presented with a medal and an award of $5,000 at the show, where he will also be presenting his research to delegates.
