Home > Press > Advanced Battery Technologies Delivers Product Innovation With New Ultra-Thin, Small Capacity Batteries
Abstract:
Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. (AMEX: GBT) today announced that it has produced two variations of an ultra-thin, small capacity polymer lithium-ion battery with a thickness of 0.4mm. Advanced Battery Technologies, Inc. develops, manufactures, and distributes rechargeable polymer lithium-ion (PLI) battery cells.
GBT employs a proprietary spraying technology to produce a 10mAh capacity battery (0.4mm x 15mm x 15mm) and a 2500mAh battery (0.4mm x 180 mm x 200mm). These batteries are primarily used in electronic albums and smart integrated circuit (IC) cards. Shenzhen Optoelectronic Technology Ltd. is GBT's largest purchaser of these ultra-thin, small capacity batteries.
"We are extremely pleased to announce the development of these ultra-thin, small capacity batteries. This battery represents our continued commitment to developing a fully diversified product line and creating products customized to meet specific applications. Advanced Battery Technologies' revenue growth has always been a function our ability to deliver cutting-edge technologies. The market for PLI batteries continues to expand in its size and uses," Mr. Fu concluded.
