Laureate of Nobel Award Wishes to Establish Own Foundation in Azerbaijan
Abstract:
The laureate of Nobel Award, Vice President of St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences, well-known scientist, Jores Alferov, wishes to establish his own foundation in Azerbaijan, said Azerbaijan's Minister of Communications & Information Technologies, Ali Abbasov, during the closing ceremony of the First International Conference on Material and Information Sciences in High Technologies on 28 September.
The date of establishing the foundation was not highlighted. According to the Minister, the foundation's activities will be directed towards scientific-search work in the sphere of nanotechnology in Azerbaijan.
