UA, UALR get $1.1 million

Abstract:
Boosting the number of students studying in the sciences is the aim of programs at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and the university's Little Rock campus that will share nearly $1.2 million in grants awarded by the National Science Foundation.

The university's Fayetteville campus is to get $599,770 to fund scholarships for both graduate and undergraduate students for studies in nanotechnology _ technology on an extreme miniature scale.
