Short Courses Kick Off IEDM
Abstract:
The 2007 International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM), planned for Dec. 10-12 in Washington, D.C., will be preceded by two short courses on Sunday, Dec. 9.
Scott Thompson, now teaching at the University of Florida and a former process development manager at Intel Corp., is the organizer for a day-long course entitled "Performance Boosters for Advanced CMOS Devices."
Robert Chau, director of transistor research and nanotechnology at Intel's Technology and Manufacturing Group, is the organizer for the short course entitled "Emerging Nanotechnology and Nanoelectronics."
