Technology Ministry to Set Up Chemical Security Commission
Abstract:
The Ministry of Science and Technology wishes to set up a national commission to manage products and chemical security in the country.
The intention is contained in the final communiqué of the round table on Nanotechnology-Nanoproducts and Management of chemical products, promoted this Friday in Luanda by the National Technical Centre.
The organ will comprise of institutions from the Ministries of Health, Home Affairs, Employment and Social Security, Industry, Agriculture, Faculties, among others.
According to the director general of National Technological Centre, Nanizey André, the main objective of the commission is to conduct an inventory of the country`s chemical products, the method of use, and assessment of their dangerous effects to health and to the environment.
