'Plan in hand to develop science culture'
Abstract:
Chairman Pakistan Science Foundation Thursday said that the government had thought out a comprehensive plan of developing 'science culture' in institutions to attract more and more students towards the field as the country lacks scientists.
He explained that good teachers could produce good results but said that teachers' job in the country could be made more attractive by increasing economic incentives for them. "The pace with which the technology is progressing today, a complete treatment and cure of diseases like Aids and cancer will be possible within ten years," he said, adding that the Nanotechnology was going to bring about a revolution in the field of science in the coming years.
