'Aquaguard Total' launched
Abstract:
Eureka Forbes, a Rs. 800-crore entity of Shapoorji Palloni Group, has launched Aquaguard Total (Gold Nova), that is capable of purifying drinking water by removing pesticides, apart from sediments, organic chemicals, bacteria and viruses, and totally dissolved salts.
Addressing a press conference here on recently, senior vice-president (marketing) of the company S. K. Palekar said that a team led by T. Pradeep, professor in chemistry at IIT-Madras in Chennai, developed nanotechnology-based application to purify water.
