Four-year Indo-Canada S&T partnership programme
Abstract:
As part of its aim to develop coordinated Canadian Science and Technology (S and T) policy positions on India, a new full time S and T counsellor position has been added to the Canadian High Commission in Delhi, a senior diplomat said yesterday.
Canadian and Indian expert coordinators have been collaborating with respective research networks in both countries to identify mutual complementaries under five broad themes, Claude said.
The five thematic areas are biotechnology/ Health Research medical devices, Sustainable Environmental technologies and alternate energy, Nanoscience/nanomedicine, Information and Communications technologies (wireless, rural connectivity, infotainment and Earch Science and Disaster management.
