MU team developing hydrogen vehicle
Abstract:
A team of scientists at the University of Missouri-Columbia has snagged an $880,000 federal grant as part of President George W. Bush's challenge to develop a clean, hydrogen-burning automobile by 2020.
Physics Professor Peter Pfeifer is working with nanotechnology expert Fred Hawthorne and Carlos Wexler, an associate professor of physics, to come up with a device that would store hydrogen under low pressure.
