LSU near launching faculty-hiring plan
Abstract:
LSU's three "cluster" concentration areas are materials science, computational science and Atlantic studies, LSU announced Tuesday.
These three concentrations include studying nanotechnology and micro-fabrication of tiny devices, expanding on LSU Center for Computation and Technology and hurricane-behavior research, and studying the unique melting pot of cultures in the region and how they are affected by climate change and other factors, said Brooks Keel, LSU vice chancellor for research and economic development.
