Newmarket educator wins teacher of the year
Abstract:
Newmarket Jr./Sr. High chemistry teacher Jim Fabiano earned the Northeastern Section of the American Chemical Society's annual award for excellence in teaching high school chemistry.
At its annual education awards night Thursday at Northeastern University in Boston, Fabiano will be honored with $1,500 cash prize and a certificate of recognition.
Fabiano worked with the University of New Hampshire to make marine science and nanotechnology outreach programs available to Newmarket students.
