Scholarship fund established at nanocollege
Abstract:
A University at Albany alumnus is donating $300,000 to the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering to endow a scholarship fund at the school. It is the first endowment from a UAlbany alumnus for the nanocollege.
Clinton Ray Carpenter graduated from UAlbany 50 years ago when it was still called the New York State College for Teachers. At 20 years old, he was the youngest graduate ever at the school. He went on to get his Ph.D from UAlbany in 1973.
