From robotics to the silver screen
Abstract:
The film project is the second major technological achievement for the students. Last year, several of the members of the current film team competed in the Robotics Programming Challenge at Acadia University, where they demonstrated their skills in the fields of robotics and nanotechnology. According to Walsh, the film project was another way to encourage kids to use technology in creative ways. A hands-off advisor, Walsh was tremendously proud of his students, who came up with the clever idea of doing a film about the tidal power plant in Annapolis Royal.
