Micron to consolidate India chapter

Abstract:
"Until recently India had been small and hence a low priority market for us. But now we are growing fast here and we will double our sales to about $200 million by next year," said Sadler, who was in India to inaugurate a manufacturing and R&D facility of OM Nanotech in Noida.

OM Nanotech, a subsidiary of OM Associates, was set up in 2004 by NRI technocrats and has its HQ in Singapore, with $100 million revenues from six countries it operates in. It is one of the distributors of Micron, which is trying to fight back a global cyclical downturn in the memory market and has been making losses.
