Small is the new big
Abstract:
Nanotechnology is still a new enough science that its entrance into daily life seems to be a distant rumor. As the potential for exciting applications and frightening threats emerge alongside the technology, the University of New Hampshire reached out last week to the state's educators.
To do that, UNH hosted a group of New Hampshire K-12 teachers Wednesday for the third year in a row of workshops and presentations on the rapidly developing science. The roughly six-hour event was designed to enlighten teachers and also examine the technology's potential impacts, which were highlighted by keynote speaker Chris Bosso.
