Abstract:
Ener1, Inc. (OTCBB: ENEI), an alternative energy company, announced that its EnerDel subsidiary has expanded its web site to include informational content and industry links that will help visitors understand the hybrid electric vehicle and lithium ion battery technologies. In addition, the web site contains videos of internal lithium ion battery safety tests which show the results of nail penetration of an EnerDel lithium ion cell compared to a commercial lithium ion cell. In the video, the nail penetration of the EnerDel battery failed safely, and the temperature of the battery did not rise above 40 degrees Celsius. This level of temperature demonstrates the advantage of our technology solution to provide superior safety of our products. The web site address is http://www.enerdel.com .
