Mumbai, Calcutta and Madras universities each get Rs.1 bn
Abstract:
These funds will be used by the universities for setting up of their centres of nanosciences and nanotechnology/bio-medical nanotechnology in a phased manner.
The implementation of the projects will provide additional facilities for research and training, creation of proper ambience for emergence of successful industries, creation and introduction of successful new products, filing of additional patents and availability of additional trained manpower in those fields.
