Better drugs may depend on nanoparticles
Abstract:
U.S. scientists have discovered string-like nanoparticles similar to viruses circulate in the blood for up to 10 times longer than spherical nanoparticles.
Dennis Discher and colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania say that finding suggests shape considerations might be important in designing better drug delivery vehicles for cancer treatment.
