A day to celebrate math's old reliable
Abstract:
Nanotechnology is a huge growth industry, Kaloyeros said, because the technology will be the underpinning of advancements in many disciplines, including medicine, telecommunications, and manufacturing.
Nanotechnology, which involves manipulating individual atoms, has been touted as a key element of the Capital Region's economic future.
Besides Albany NanoTech and a number of high-tech companies like Tokyo Electron, Advanced Micro Devices Inc. plans to build a $3.2 billion computer chip plant in Saratoga County.
