Century students look at nanoscience
Abstract:
Nanoscience is golden in cancer research, repellent to dining mishaps and brings humans closer to the glass ceiling.
Students at Century High School learned from professors at the North Dakota State College of Science about a field of science that can't be seen with the human eye.
Nanotechnology is on the order of .000000001, a billionth of a meter.
Kristi Jean shared with the students ways nanotechnology is curing cancer. Gold mixed with antibiotics attach to the cancer cells, and microwaves destroy the cancer cells.
