UC, India to Form Research Agreement
Abstract:
A group of UC faculty and administrators will travel to India next week to meet with Indian government officials and universities to develop partnerships focusing on global health, technology and economic concerns.
Global energy concerns may also be addressed through these partnerships, Majumdar said.
"My role is to look at energy and nanotechnology and the intersection of those, given that energy is a topic of great interest for both the countries," he said.
This initiative is the fifth international initiative established by the UC system, including one with Tanzania and most recently a China initiative established in 2005, Kalonji said.
