Davis student named Intel finalist
Abstract:
A Davis Senior High School senior was named a finalist Wednesday in Intel Corp.'s Intel Science Talent Search competition.
Courtis was selected for her chemistry project about the novel synthesis of silicon nanoparticles. She hopes the project might help physicians track biological processes and diagnose cancer.
