Scottish Enterprise offloads interest in Alba Campus site
Abstract:
However, Scottish Enterprise's diversification has meant support for other related industries including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, opto-electronics and nanotechnology, with investment running from Fife across the central belt.
"Since opening in 1998, the Alba Campus has been hugely successful in promoting Scotland's capabilities in electronic design. West Lothian continues to have particular strengths in new technologies such as micro and optoelectronics and nanotechnology, and the inter- nationally renowned Institute for Systems Level Integration and recently opened Alba Innovation Centre will remain important elements of the Alba Campus."
