Going green to save greenbacks
Abstract:
While Monterey County already has a strong lead in tourism-related industry, Woolpert sees an untapped potential for emerging nanotech industries.
"California's right at the beginning of this, and we are the biotech capital of the world," he said. "All the biotech, all the nanotechnology, can go to every county except our three, or we can go out and try to get some of that business. It's coming, but we've got to go get it."
