Undergraduate research 'A golden opportunity'
Abstract:
With six undergraduate students currently working in her laboratory at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, Allen can be considered somewhat of an expert on the subject. Allen, who uses nanotechnology to improve the delivery of anti-cancer drugs to tumour sites, regularly receives applications from students who are looking to fulfil the mandatory research component of their undergraduate degrees or hoping to gain research experience during the summer months.
