Pulaski industries grapple with corrosive waste
Abstract:
The authority has named the James Hardie Building Products plant and NanoChemonics as major sulfate sources.
Last month, Pulaski Town Council voted to apply for a $25,000 Appalachian Regional Commission grant to start planning for a nano-park, anchored by NanoChemonics. White said nanotechnology spinoffs have great potential for Pulaski, and NanoChemonics is the goose that is laying those golden eggs. “And we need to be careful that we don’t kill the goose,” he said.
