State Fair: 148 years and counting
Abstract:
Instead of guilty pleasures, Harkins and Moravec said we could be downing nutrients, drugs and nanobots on a stick designed to seek out genetic problems or potential diseases and eliminate or repair them. Nanobots, now in the research stage, are cell-sized robots that work with other cells alone or in groups. According to nanotechnology advocates, nanobots' potential is endless, even if their use is years away.
