Life Science Is Music To Ears
Abstract:
While all eyes have been focused lately on Kannapolis and the N.C. Research Campus, the Charlotte Research Institute (CRI) at UNC Charlotte has quietly begun taking steps to create a center for translational brain cancer research as well as other medical and cancer-related research. The Center for Bioinformatics, led by Larry Mayes, received formal center status last fall, and plans are being made to add a doctoral program in nanotechnology.
