Chip Equipment Sales to Surge

Abstract:
The optimistic report helped to kick off Semicon West, the equipment industry trade show that’s in San Francisco this week. The show will feature 1,300 exhibitors and 3,500 demonstration booths at the Moscone Center. Attendees can check out industry leaders such as Applied Materials as well as nanotechnology startups whose novel materials and process technologies could become the basic building blocks of electronic devices in the future.
