A clarion call for America's competitiveness
Abstract:
To ensure that the next Apple or Amazon, Google or Genentech, biotechnology or nanotechnology breakthroughs are created here, America must redouble its investments in basic research, improve math and science education, stimulate innovation and recruit the world's smartest people. They are initiatives that President Bush promised to support during his State of the Union address and that lawmakers of both parties say they endorse.
