NanoTech firm gets help on Capitol Hill
Abstract:
A new tenant at Albany NanoTech is closer to landing a $769 million contract with a Chinese semiconductor company, thanks to U.S. Rep. John Sweeney, R-Clifton Park. Sweeney added language into a federal foreign operations appropriations bill expected to be voted on by the House and Senate this week that urges the Export-Import Bank of the United States to review a loan application by Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp.
