Nanobots Will Help Battle Ills In Future
Abstract:
IBD: What about the concerns over global warming?
Kurzweil: I describe in the book how we can reverse global warming in the 2020s with nanotechnology. The amount of temperature change is a modest 1 degree over decades. That can cause climate change, but I don't see it causing a catastrophe between now and when we can clean things up.
IBD: How can we clean things up?
Kurzweil: Nanotechnology will be able to reverse the environmental degradation, including global warming, seen from the Industrial Age. And these new technologies are inherently environmentally friendly.
