Abstract:
The board later approved with a unanimous vote the submission of a National Science Foundation Advanced Technology Education Grant by Taylor. Last discussed at the Aug. 23 board meeting, the grant would enable students to delve deeper into the subjects of bio and nanotechnology.
Taylor said of it at the time, "It's a great opportunity - I wish they'd had it for my kids. Nanotechnology is huge, and the students will have a great opportunity to learn more about the field."
