NANOIDENT AG joined the Organic Electronics Association (OEA)

The nanotechnology company NANOIDENT AG has joined
the VDMA - Organic Electronics Association (OEA). NANOIDENT is the world’s first company
specialized in the development and production of organic semiconductor-based photonic
sensors. As NANOIDENT CEO Klaus Schroeter comments, “The OEA is Europe’s largest association
of manufacturers, potential customers and partners in the organic semiconductor
industry – a network that offers us plenty of excellent opportunities to rapidly expand our
current market position.” OEA Managing Director Dr. Klaus Hecker adds, “NANOIDENT’s accession
to OEA is a great boost to our efforts to establish the association as a leading platform
for the fast-growing European organic semiconductor industry.”
A European network of expertise
About 50 leading European companies and research institutes working in the field of organic
electronics, including Covion, Degussa, MAN Roland, Merck, NANOIDENT, PolyIC and
Siemens, have joined the Organic Electronics Association (OEA). Target is to build up a
competitive infrastructure for the production of plastic electronics in Europe. The Organic
Electronics Association (OEA) is a working group within the German Engineering Federation
VDMA. Nearly 3,000 member companies from the capital goods industry make VDMA the
largest industry association in Europe. The OEA expands the activities of VDMA in the field
of new technologies such as flat panel displays, productronics and micro technologies

NANOIDENT AG at Plastic Electronics Conference, October 4/5 2005
At the Plastic Electronics Conference & Showcase, which takes place on October 4/5 2005
in Frankfurt, NANOIDENT AG will present their sensor technology platform for organic photonic
sensors to an international specialist audience. Plastic Electronics Conference, in 2005
featuring Showcase for the first time, is seen as the world’s leading market place for manufacturers,
industrial customers, research institutes and investors in the organic electronics
sector (http://www.plastic-electronics.de). VDMA - Organic Electronics Association (OEA) is
a co-operation partner of the conference & showcase. NANOIDENT CTO Franz Padinger:
“At Plastic Electronics Conference, NANOIDENT will also introduce the world’s first highresolution,
organic semiconductor-based photonic sensor for high-volume industrial applications
– a significant milestone in marketing organic semiconductors.“ The 256-pixel sensor,
with 50 x 50 ěm pixel size and 250 dpi resolution, sets the new global benchmark for
organic photonic sensors.
