Hope revived for storing hydrogen in nanocarbon

Abstract:
... a team from Canada and Germany claims that the previous theoretical estimates were hampered by inaccurate assumptions about the way hydrogen molecules interact with graphite-like carbon. They say that a more accurate treatment of the problem shows that the DOE figure should be well within reach under technologically acceptable conditions — provided that the correct sort of nanostructured carbon host material can be identified.
