2005 Space Conference Explores Nanotechnology
Abstract:
Sander Olson: Space enthusiasts, astronauts, entrepreneurs, and researchers converged upon the 2005 International Space Development Conference (ISDC) in Arlington, Virginia, to discuss and explore the possibilities for commercial space development. The 4-day conference, sponsored by the National Space Society, emphasized using innovative approaches to foster space tourism, reduce the cost of space access, and exploit the resources of the moon, mars, and near-earth asteroids.
