Texas Instruments posts short sales figures
Abstract:
Texas Instruments said this week that sales of its chips used in big-screen televisions and projectors will fall short of expectations in the first quarter, reducing the company's anticipated revenue and income.
TI also said it has produced chips with circuits measuring just 65 nanometers wide. Among U.S. semiconductor makers, only Intel has also produced 65-nanometer chips.
