Abstract:
Researchers from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute have devised a simple and inexpensive way to manufacture very fine filters from carbon nanotubes. The researchers showed that the filters could be used to separate heavy hydrocarbons from petroleum and bacteria and viruses from water.
