Trapped Single Atom Presages New Technology
Abstract:
Once thought impossible to catch, scientists have now snared a single atom. A report from the Department of Energy´s Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in Tennessee says that collaborating Indian-American researchers have accomplished the feat, which could lead to a whole new technology.
