Beakers for nanochemistry

Abstract:
One way to make a tiny crystal you need a tiny beaker. Jeremy Barton and Teri Odom of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, have taken that principle to the extreme by making an array of nanoscale beakers in which they can grow nanocrystals of well-defined and roughly uniform size.
