Intel: Moore's Law Here to Stay
Abstract:
At opening day of this year’s Semicon West, 26-year Intel veteran Paolo Gargini, Intel Fellow and director of technology strategy as well as chairman of the ITRS said there is still plenty of steam left in Moore’s Law. “We see that for at least the next 15 to 20 years, we can continue staying on Moore’s Law. In fact, all this so-called nanotechnology offers many new knobs we can turn to continue improving the number of components on a die."
