Samsung Electronics Plans Ahead of Explosive Demand
Abstract:
Samsung Electronics is planning on developing 50 nano Flash products within two or three years, aiming for an explosive increase in the demand for memory semiconductors starting from 2005. Hwang Chang-Gyu, president of Samsung Electronic's memory-chip unit, expressed such plans at a special lecture given to professors and students at MIT on April 15, entitled, “The Roles of Semiconductors in Future IT Periods.”
