Albany NanoTech program exposes high school students to industry

Abstract:
Twenty-seven high school students are attending "High Tech U" at Albany NanoTech, a three-day program designed to introduce students to career opportunities in the semiconductor industry. The SEMI Workforce Development Institute, dubbed High Tech U, was created by the San Jose, Calif.-based Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International to increase interest among high school students in science, mathematics, and high-tech careers.
