Local science expo launches students into larger contests
Abstract:
A Hillsboro student earned a spot in the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair at last week's Beaverton Hillsboro Science Expo. Glencoe High School senior Allison Solanki earned an alternate finalist position for her research in nanotechnology. Solanki also received the American Society of Materials Science International Foundation Prize and an overall fourth place in engineering.
