Abstract:
There is much interest in developing ever-smaller nanoelectronic components for use in miniature electronic devices. A paper in this issue takes a different tack, using nanomaterials to make things cheaper, not smaller. High-performance macroelectronics (or large-area electronics) uses thin-film transistors (TFTs) as building blocks.
