When Flash becomes a memory
Abstract:
... recent advances in solid-state memory technology do seem to promise the stuff of science fiction. The semiconductor manufacturers pouring billions of R&D dollars into the next-generation of non-volatile memory devices promise benefits such as the speed of SRAM, the density of DRAM and the non-volatility of Flash. All rolled into a single cheap package.
