Solar cells give ray of hope to Swiss scientists
Abstract:
The future of solar energy has been given a boost thanks to a new type of solar cell developed by the Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne. The so-called nanocristalline solar cells have been shown to be much cheaper and just as effective as the silicon cells which have been used to make solar energy until now.
