Molecular motor goes round in circles
Abstract:
Scientists from the University of Edinburgh, UK, and the University of Bologna, Italy, claim to have made the first artificial rotary motor from molecular components that are not chemically bonded to each other. The mechanically interlocked molecular motor is less than 4 nm wide.
