UT-A prof, student finding breakthroughs with polymers

Abstract:
Georgeanne Purvinis, a doctoral candidate in electrical engineering, is working with chemistry professor Martin Pomerantz testing complex polymers. Their research could greatly improve data storage in computers, allowing 10 times as much information to fit on a compact disc.
